Typically daffodils are planted in the garden in the fall and bloom in the spring. It is more cost effective to do it this way, but often times life gets busy and we don’t get that done in the fall. But we have your back, you can buy them potted in the spring that are ready to use in planters or in your gardens and will come back year after year.

Kennedy’s partnered with a local grower to grow some special varieties for us. In fact, our owner Chris Kennedy has a row of one of these varieties lining a narrow bed along his walkway after planting. He planted them between a row of perennials a few years ago around this time. Daffodils are very reliable and when planted between later blooming perennials it can work as a season extender with blooms popping during multiples times in the same year in the same small space. The perennials come up later and hide the spent flowers and foliage of the daffodils.
