Kennedy's Bus Trip to
P Allen Smith Day
at the
Proven Winners Display Gardens
Details
are set for first trip to visit the Proven Winner Display gardens. We have
reserved a bus for Friday, August 6th to take us to Pleasant View
Gardens in Loudon, NH. You will be treated to a tour of their magnificent
display gardens and one of the biggest and most innovative greenhouse growing
operations in New England. We will also have the opportunity to hear
a presentation and get a chance to meet P. Allen Smith. We plan to leave
from Kennedy’s at 8:00 am on a deluxe motor coach equipped with a lavatory and
a DVD. We will have a few videos to show on the ride along with some
lively discussion and maybe a couple laughs to pass the travel time away.
Our estimated time of return is approximately 4:30 pm. The cost of the trip
including lunch is $40.00. The
itinerary is as follows:
9:30 am
Coffee & donuts.
10 am – 12 Guided tours of
the facilities and display gardens
12 – 12:45 Lunch
provided by Panera - Please let us know if you have special
diet requests.
12:45 – 1:45 Presentation by P. Allen of
the Today Show & Weather Channel fame
1:45 – 2:00 Book signing and
last minute photos
2:00 pm
Begin boarding buses
We hope to have the bus sold out soon. At this late date the only way to
reserve a seat is to stop by the front counter at Kennedy's with a check for $40
made out to Kennedy's. It is first come first serve. Thank you!
