Kennedy's Horticultural
Stimulus Package


With all the negativity out there,
it is time to make use of our Presidential name and take action.

This package deals with 3 major issues and we have assembled a team of horticultural experts that have outlined several specific immediate action plans for each issue.

1. Consumer behaviors related to Winter Blues & Cold weather
2. An economic downturn
3. Environmental concerns

In an effort to overcome severe Cold Weather and Winter Blues, Kennedy's is encouraging strolls through our warm greenhouses six days a week from 9-5 to give those suffering from Winter Blues a place to come out of the cold and get a blast of warm sun.  Where else can you get "Sunny and 80's" for this price?
No purchase required, but a bouquet of fresh flowers from The Country Florist is a cheerful reminder that better spring days lie ahead of us.

Kennedy's is offering free coffee on weekends.  We envision this stimulating you to get out of bed on a cold morning and visit a local business or two.  The money saved on coffee will allow extra to be spent on buying say, a houseplant.  A new plant purchase supports the local economy and improves indoor air quality for you and your family.

 Kennedy's is offering a great selection of herb, flower and vegetable seeds.  They have just arrived, including many organically grown varieties.  Growing plants from seeds is rewarding and saves you money.  We hope to encourage homes across the South Shore and beyond to grow some of their own vegetables.  This will lessen the environmental impact, because a walk to the vegetable garden might burn a few calories, but requires no fossil fuels. 

Future generations also benefit greatly from exposure to outdoor garden activities that encourage good work ethic and require hands to be dirty.  Ask about our Kids Club for more details.
